| Some people laugh, some people shake their heads - such was the way of Superheroes. Shane "Hurricane" Helms carved a niche in the business as Raw's Resident superhero. Since being encouraged to follow this dream by Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the InVasion days, Hurricane attempted to bring about "justice" in the form of good humor and a good match. In the early summer months of 2003, Rosey was at a lonely crossroads - recently unemployed from Three Minute Warning, he had little to do and no direction. Hurricane encouraged Rosey to look into the field of Superheroics, and from there Rosey flourished - not only as a Super Hero In Training, but as a superhero in his own right. This Dynamic Duo finally reached a major goal after nearly two years of tag-teaming together - at Backlash 2005, Hurricane scored his third Tag Team title, and Rosey, his first! (surprisingly, 3MW never won the tag straps). This tag team was the most established on Raw at the time, and I had hoped for a long future for these two. You were either brought here from my pic from Ft. Wayne (Helms) or from Dayton (Rosey). The individual pics at the top of the page were takes at Six Flags near Chicago (Hurricane) and in Dayton (Rosey). The team broke up in November of 2005 and the two have since moved on to new endeavors. "Hurricane" Gregory Helms now works the Cruiserweight division on Smackdown. Rosey was recently released. |
